Ninjas lived hundreds of years ago in Japan. They helped powerful samurai families by spying, fighting enemies, and protecting their people. To do this really well, ninjas learned incredible skills called "ninjutsu".

Let me share some of their coolest secrets with you:

Being sneaky is key! 🕵️

Ninjas wore dark clothes so they could hide in the shadows at night. They also knew how to move really quietly. Plus, they'd blend into places like trees and bushes so no one even knew they were there!

Gathering secret information was a big part of a ninja's job. They'd sneak into enemy towns and sneak around without getting caught. Sometimes they'd even dress up as different people to trick folks. That way they could learn the bad guys' plans.

Learn awesome fighting moves 🥋

Ninjas trained really hard in ninjutsu. This taught them how to fight with their hands and all sorts of weapons. They could throw sharp stars called shuriken. And they knew kung fu moves with swords too!

 Attack fast then disappear 🏃‍♂️

Ninjas would suddenly attack the enemies, then quickly run away before anyone could catch them. They were also great at hiding and waiting to surprise attack groups of bad guys. That really confused their targets! 

Carry cool tools ⚔

Besides shuriken, ninjas used knives and smoke bombs during missions. They even had special climbing gear like grappling hooks. All these extras helped them sneak around and escape when needed.

Survive anywhere outdoors 🌲

Ninjas were experts at living off the land. They found food and water, built shelters, and knew how to navigate tricky terrain. Ninjas also learned about plants - which were medicines and which were poisons!

Use mind tricks on enemies 🤯

Deception was another important tactic. Ninjas would leave fake clues or start rumors to scare opponents. They also used symbols to seem even more mysterious than they were. All these tricks played mind games with their targets.
